Texts: 1) Aristotle, Physica, with commentary by Averroes (fols. 2-67v); 2) Vita et genus Aristotelis (fols 68-70v). The commentary by Averroes follows the Aristotle passage it describes within the same text columns; the two different texts distinguished by use of the colored initials AV or AR immediately preceding each change of author.
Decoration: 5 bas-de-page colored ink drawings of birds and grotesques, 9 large calligraphic initials, some touched with colored wash, elaborately flourished in contrasting colors.
