Notes: 

Ms. lapidary; written and decorated in France in the second half of the 15th century.
The manuscript, which is incomplete, begins with three pages of an astrological text in latin: "Principium vitale ac potestetatem in eo occidentalis. In fine sagittarii;" the lapidary follows on fol. 2v: "Ce sont les noms des pierres precieuses et le nombre parfait de lxii ou nom des lxii noms de dieu nostre seigneur"--Cf. Eighteenth report to the Fellows of the Pierpont Morgan Library, 1975-1977.
Decoration: initials in red and blue.
