Discovered in a cupboard in the Jacobite Syrian Church of Harput in Armenia by Dr. J. Rendel Harris, formerly Curator of Manuscripts of the John Rylands Library (his "Syr. Mss. 10); Alexander Peckover (Lord Peckover of Wisbech; London, Sotheby's, 3-4 April 1933, lot 350; purchased from William H. Robinson, Ltd., London, through the Lewis Cass Ledyard Fund in 1934.
