Ms. universal chronicle in verse to the death of Charlemagne; written and illuminated in Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany, ca. 1360.
The manuscript is in a genre termed a Christ-Herre Chronik--Cf. Central European manuscripts in the Pierpont Morgan Library.
Henry of Munich was responsible for the the text from four kings to the end. (Cf. Frank Shaw et al.) The chronicle imitates the style of Rudolf von Ems.
Shaw places the ms. in Bavaria, end of the 14th century (p. xxiv). Robert Suckale in (1992) dates the writing and illumination of the manuscript in Regensburg, ca. 1360 (Cf. PML files).
Decoration: 243 large and smaller miniatures, 2 historiated initials, and 4 historiated borders.
