Ms. prayerbook leaves; written and illuminated in Germany, possibly Augsburg, ca. 1520-25.
Decoration: 1 miniature depicting the Madonna and child with donor, 1 illuminated border, 3 illuminated initials; German Gothic style. Merkl (1999) attributes the miniature to Ulrich Taler, and suggests that the patron is Abbot Johannes VI Schrott of St. Ulrich and Afra in Augsburg.
