Saying that he has added a few things to Rugoff's list and annotated his questions and is sending it now to keep him from waiting; adding that Louis Kronenberger, the publisher, is leaving for Europe, so he shouldn't have contacted him for a few months about the book; suggesting that he send Rugoff directly to Saxe Commins at Random House and to Quincy Howe at Simon and Schuster; stating that he could also send him to Harcourt Brace, but he was relying on them for his book and does not want to disrupt anything; informing him that Farrar and Rinehart are opening a textbook department.
