Discussing the dispersal of the Story estate and her image of the Vendita Story, Waldo [son of William Wetmore Story] and Maud; describing how he has seen her neighbor, Miss [Elizabeth Jessie Jane] Allen and how unfortunate her situation is; talking about Mrs. Gosse's large inheritance and asking that she refrains from telling anyone until it is made public; (in postscript) saying to her that she can't believe what the government says about Lord H. stealing the Dublin jewels, but that it was Sir A.V. while he was in the castle and gives details on what happened.
