A mimeograph copy of a playscript for the three-act play by James Baldwin. The play was published in 1954, and its first performance was by the Howard Players at Howard University, May 11-14, 1955. This was followed by a Broadway production at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, opening on April 15, 1965.
