Possible date of writing identified by The Ashbery Archive.
Typed on title page: "Property of / Robert Cordier & / VISION NOW CORPORATION / 809 Broadway / New York, N.Y. 10003."
According to The Ashbery Archive, "Ashbery told Micaela Morrissette, 2003-06-30, that at Cordier's request Ashbery wrote the dialogue for this 'hippie epic' despite living in Paris at the time and being generally unaware of contemporary colloquial language of the hippie movement. Despite the fact that Vision Now Corporation is printed in the front matter in the manner of a publisher or producer, this script has never been published or made into a film.
