Summary
A translation by Rawdon Brown of letters from Guido Bentivoglio, probably written to Scipione Borghese Caffarelli in Rome, 1609-1610. The letters, many of which are written in Brussels, are mainly about the infatuation of Henry IV for the fourteen year old Charlotte de Montmorency, wife of the Prince of Condé, whose flight with her husband to the Spanish Netherlands occasioned the originals of this diplomatic correspondence.
