Summary
Asking him for more money; saying that "on coming home so many things - alas - to pay - it distresses me - may near makes me mad - if I can't save it out of next quarter - what will become of me - I know not;" asking that he "call here about twelve with my money but if he [her son Jack] should be in the room not give it me while he stays - but I will call you out of it to take it - if not able to get rid of him otherways.
