Summary
Discussing publication of Don Juan, and noting that he thinks "the cheap edition indispensable"; wondering whether they should publish it in three thick of four thin volumes; insisting that Hunt's portion should be more than 15%: "the 15 per Cent is not enough for yr. portion -- if you positively decline the half -- you may at least accept a fourth which would be 25 per Cent -- or a third rather better than thirty per Cent"; writing that he has no objection "to put [his] name to the 'Island'"; proposing a collected edition of his works; mentioning that he is still having trouble with a corn on his foot: "I have nearly rubbed the foot off -- but still the Corn continues as hard as a king's heart."
