Summary
Writing that he hopes the "fine weather has restored you and that I may soon have the pleasure of meeting you"; discussing the progress he has made on his Lives of the Lord Chancellors and mentioning that he has finished with Sir Thomas More, Thomas Audley and Thomas Wriothesley; adding that he is about to begin on the biography of Richard Rich "for which I have pretty good materials"; asking if his correspondent could send him information on Thomas Goodrich (Bishop of Ely), Stephen Gardiner (Bishop of Winchester), and Nicholas Heath (Archbishop of York); writing that that brings him up to Nicholas Bacon.
