Summary
Concerning the sale of land in Wyberton, Lincolnshire, and the terms on which the sale should go forward: "I am aware of its being without a barn, but it is, in my opinion, in an improveable situation; besides that, I am convinced land must shortly rise materially in value"; suggesting "26 years purchase" as a compromise between other terms proposed; writing that a copy of his book has gone to the King and another will soon be going to the Prince of Wales; mentioning that he is "in daily expectation of an answer from Mr. Addington [possibly a reference to the Prime Minister, Henry Addington] that will produce a meeting of the Committee"; sending his best regards to Edmund's uncle and aunt.
