Summary
Declining a request to add his name to Knight's Wordsworth project; saying " I have never been considered to be a really thorough Wordsworthian by the great admirers of Wordsworth although I admire some things as much as possible. This being so, I doubt whether it would be of any use to add my name to your list : but I am in complete sympathy with your undertaking. I am very sorry that you did not see your way to take the headship of University Hall."
