Summary
Concerning Knight's memoir of John Nichol; saying would have liked to have been "of any service to you in my power for the purposes of your Biography of Nichol. But I never had any but the most distant acquaintance with him. I remember the New Speculative Society, my link with which was I think Professor Jack. But I doubt if I was ever a fully fledged member, and I certainly never attended a meeting."
