Acquired as part of a large collection of letters addressed to William Angus Knight, Chair of Moral Philosophy at the University of St. Andrews and Wordsworth scholar. Items in the collection have been individually accessioned and cataloged.
The postcard has a portrait of "Colonel Baden-Powell Defender of Mafeking."
The year of writing is not given, however, The Baden-Powell's leased 32 Princes Gate beginning in 1902. Professor Knight died in 1914.
