Page 1 provides only full-page coat of arms; it is labeled "Roger Portington[n] of Barmbie sup[er] Don[n]e Esqu[ire] / seconde brother of the house of Portington[n] wh[o]s[e] / Ancestor ca[m]e forth [of] the same house in Ed[war]d / the ffourth his dayes. He bea[r]eth Portingt[onn,] Passelewe, B[arm]bye and kydalle [i.e., Kiddal]."
