Summary
Reporting on the Regiments under his command, specifically the recent arrival of the 21st Light Dragoons; saying "This Regiment has certainly profited by the use of the Riding House during the Winter and is therefore enabled to exercise with more rapidity and precision. There are however so many very bad horses, and so many men not well calculated for the Service that I cannot presume to hope for much for their improvement;" reporting briefly that the books all seem to be in order, the arms, clothing and appointments are in good order, Regulations have been conformed to and the hospitals are "clean & properly attended."
