Forwarding papers by which he will see "that we only throw ourselves upon Lady Bath's Justice in reclaiming the Papers in question. I turst therefore to your undertaking our Cause;" asking for his reply to "Letter upon Service" even though he understands it is the practice of the War Office not to reply; adding that as he intends "to put upon the Address of this, a large 'Private', I do not altogether despair of an early answer. In the mean time I shall assure L'd Uxbridge that he may hourly expect his papers, & L'y Elizabeth that her friend has only to choose his Barrack, or District."
