Concerning the return of a book which he borrowed; saying "For I have but one friend more who can refresh my memory very much impair'd by age, but further instruct me in many things whereof I am ignorant even in Studies w'ch have had my close application, and he lives more remote;" adding that he will send the book and others he has borrowed by a porter; adding "I know of no Debt to me, but know not how to ballance my acc't with you, but will do my endeavour tho' insolvent to do what lies in my power."
