Summary
Telling Knight that she was very interested to read his piece, "Letters from J. S. Mill to Professor [John] Nichol," in the recent number of the Fortnightly, especially because of a reference made to Bridell-Fox's father, the orator William Johnson Fox, and the Monthly Repository; adding that John Stuart Mill was a contributor to the Monthly Repository during the period in which Fox edited it (1827-1836), though he wrote under the pseudonyms of "Antiquus" and "Philo Mousos"; writing that she has many letters from Mill to her father from that time; asking Knight if he has any letters that mention Fox; explaining that she is in the process of writing a memoir of her father but that she has had "great difficulty in obtaining information about his work, both political & literary, during the years between 1820 and 1832"; adding that she is curious to find out whether Fox ever wrote for Mill at the London and Westminster Review.
