Summary
Thanking him for his letter; referring to Urania Cottage and writing "I can assure you that I shall most gladly avail myself of your kind offer to assist me occasionally in getting an asylum for some unfortunate who may seem a worthy object;" mentioning that he had a case recently where "a great deal of trouble was thrown away" because they could not find assistance such as Angela Burdett-Coutts is providing; asking him to excuse this hasty note "in which I know I have failed to express anything like a due appreciation of your very kind offer."
