Summary
Writing that he arrived last night to find the house "still in terrible disorder" and his wife unwell, although she expects to be more comfortable than she was at Oaklands once they are settled; noting that he has accidentally written the second page to a letter intended for Richard Mason on the current letter to Thompson (struck out in ink on the second page); asking for the date of "Mr. Harries' ... appointment to the prebend" and asking for "Finlays letter"; adding that he is afraid that Thompson has not found a map which may be among Freeman's own belongings, and providing a simple sketch of the plan of Dunster church well "or rather the two churches together thus".
