Summary
Describing how, through an encounter with Evelyne Blau, he obtained Svetlana's address; telling her he saw "Vijay and Annie Singh" [fashion photographer Vic Singh, son of Allilueva's deceased partner, Brajesh Singh] in London "some years ago" and was told Singh didn't know where Allilueva was; describing feeling "guilty in some way to be in possession of your trove of photographs, with no way of returning them to you"; assuring her that the photographs are "safe, in our London apartment if you should change your mind" about wanting them back; telling her about the Krishnamurti project he and Ruth Jhabvala are working on for Warner Brothers; letting her know about Merchant's death [in 2005] during the shooting of "The White Countess"; wishing her well and asking again whether she would like the photographs back.
