Summary
John Flaxman's monument of Admiral Richard Howe, Earl Howe, at St Paul's Cathedral in London, includes his full-length sculpture, standing at right in naval uniform, supporting an upright telescope with his right hand; two allegorical female figures at left; Britannia seated on pedestal behind, her lion lying at Howe's feet.
