Summary
Expressing concern that several packet boats have arrived from Halifax without word from John or Lady Wentworth; noting he has written them three times (offering his home as theirs until they settle in England) since he heard the news that John Wentworth had been relieved by his successor as lieutenant-governor; begging Charles Wentworth to inform him (Edward) of any news he receives from his parents; asking to convey his compliments to Lord Fitzwilliam, if Charles is his guest when he receives this letter; conveying anxiety also of Madame de St. Laurent over lack of word from the Wentworths.
