Summary
Informing that, after last writing to Wentworth, Edward has forwarded to the colonial under-secretary (John Sullivan) Wentworth's written explanation of "the business of [Wentworth's] accounts relative to the Maroons" and of the "several services" Wentworth has rendered as lieutenant governor; mentioning he also wrote to Sullivan on Wentworth's salary "hardship" and requesting he (Edward) be notified immediately of any news on Wentworth's situation; informing he has enclosed Sullivan's answer (made under the authority of Lord Hobart) as it is favorable and may cheer Wentworth; reiterating he will use any opportunity to be of service to Wentworth.
