Summary
Informing Wentworth that he is sending him "my old English Stallion Mask, late Lord Dorchester's"; stating that he "shall feel peculiarly gratified" if the horse can "prove useful, through your means, to ameliorate the breed of the Province"; hoping Wentworth will do as he sees fit with the horse "without considering the circumstances of his being a gift from me"; regretting business prevented him from calling at Government House yesterday but expressing how "very happy" he was in hearing Lady Wentworth "had had so good a night, and was so much better after it" and hoping for her further "amendment"; conveying to Wentworth and Lady Wentworth "the joint remembrance of Madam de St. Laurent, and myself" and hoping to see them "in person tomorrow."
