Summary
Acknowledging a letter, hoping his arthritis is "under control", and mentioning that she suffers from it as well; regretting that she cannot answer his questions concerning the cast of the film "The light that came" (also known as "Three sisters"); responding to his question asking if she ever hears from Mary Miles Minter with the answer "No", and going on to recount an incident wherein she was asked her to sign a portrait of Minter by an avid fan who had mistaken her for the other actress, and adding that she "wrote Mary the account of this, but evidently she didn't think it so funny for I have never heard from her since."; mentioning that she received his letter that morning detailing his connection with Raymond Lee's "The films of Mary Pickford" and remarking that "I am sure that you have properly protected me and there will be no embarrassment on your part."; informing him the she continues "to lead a sedentary existence", but that Buddy Rogers makes up for her "inactivity" with his appearances for charity and involvement in politics.
