Summary
Sending their regrets at being unable to attend his son Robert's wedding; writing that they had expected to fly to Paris on June 1st where they will be "guests of the French government which is honoring me with a Mary Pickford Festival and a special Mary Pickford Section in the Cinematheque Francaise Museum", but owing to the injuries she to her foot and ribs during a fall, the trip has been deferred until the autumn; informing him that they have been working on a documentary, and recalling that the evening she fell down the stairway she had that day hosted an interview with Adolph Zukor at Pickfair, who, at 92, "has a most remarkably alert mind which came through beautifully in our unrehearsed reminiscing."
