Summary
Writing that his letter of November 19th was lost in the "avalanche of mail" that accumulated while they were away, and enclosing a picture of herself she neglected to enclose in her previous letter of November 6th; expressing surprise that he has not gotten a response to his letter to Mary Miles Minter Hildebrandt, "as my secretary talked with her over the telephone and she seemed quite interested, especially since Lillian Gish and I were included.", and going on to mention that "I understand that she has grown quite heavy - in fact, a good 250 lbs., which is hard to believe, but she still has a very good distinctive speaking voice and manner over the phone."; writing that she is very busy and that she and Buddy had hoped to go to England, but it looks now like they "may fly to the Orient sometime in June."; thanking him for "fine chapter" he has written about her (for his "Movies in the age of innocence").
