Summary
Sending him a tray and a medal, and he will be happy with the resemblance: she cannot perpetuate the memory of [her son] Leopold without asking him to [?] a memory of the tragic trip that brought Pastoret so much sadness and caused Mme de Bauffremont an unending decline. She has enclosed records of a trial that she is sure will interest him. He will see that the responses of Monsieur [?] are missing, and he will be struck by the discreet mention of the name of Madame de B[?]. This is surprising because it was a single word from one of them [probably Madame] that launched the trial.
