Thanking him for sending her a signed copy of his book "Movies in the age of innocence", and adding that she intends to buy copie to give as gifts for Christmas; writing that she slipped on their floor and sprained her ankle ten days ago and was afraid she would be obliged to cancel her trip to Cleveland and Boston, the ankle has improved enough for her to get around on crutches; mentioning that her friend Rhys Williams has informed them that he has been in touch with Wagenknecht and that she looks forward to seeing them (in Boston) on November 4th.
