Summary
Acknowledging a letter and article sent by him which she found upon her return from New York, and adding that she was happy that he liked her film "Secrets" and that he maintains that she is "still in the motion picture business."; addressing his proposal that he write her biography by stating that "There is no one in the world I would rather have do it than you", and that she has always wanted to write to write her autobiography, "but I have felt that the time is not quite ripe. It seems to me I should wait until I have withdrawn from public life. Furthermore, I could not write it quite fairly and honestly without distressing others whose lives have at some time touched mine."; adding in a postscript that she will read the "Bright land" immediately.
