Summary
Remarking that "What my sister Alice calls your 'revivalist Greek sermon'" has inspired them to devote an hour every evening to their efforts to read Greek, and noting that, since he was there, they have read 150 lines of Homer; mentioning that she received no answer to her letter to Mr. Cox and intends to do nothing further as she knows that he will "speak my cause if you see your way to so doing."; asking him if Father (William) Lockhart's periodical "Lamp" is still extent and whether it would pay for her to contribute to it, as she has "stumbled upon upon an interesting quaint Sicilian legend I should like to sell", and knows that only a Catholic paper "would look at it with eyes of favor".
