Summary
Letter introducing the bearer, "Herr Schramm" from Berlin, a friend of their mutual friend James Yates, who has brought a book on chronology published by Prof. [Ferdinand] Piper of Berlin "which Mr. Y. wished me to examine", and explaining that, as he reads very little German, he suggested that "it might be well for you to see it, & perhaps it might furnish material for a Chronol paper."
