Summary
Describing London as "extremely peaceful"; telling her he just "saw Alan Bates, Judy, Keith, Wiley and Peter off" on a flight to Paris and is very grateful for the help of "wonderful friends" with shipping all the necessities for the ["Quartet"] shoot; saying he himself will be leaving for Paris this afternoon, hoping the shoot will go well, and expressing the hope that she will be able to come to Paris too; promising to "telephone you from Paris to keep you informed"; expressing frustration with the "appalling" issues keeping Tony [presumably Tony Korner?] from staying in their apartment; asking that Joan Sullivan send him a "retyped script of 'The Bostonians' so that we can get someone to make a preliminary budget" by January.
