Summary
Saying that she was climbing into her carriage when she was handed the recipient's first letter. She went to see Mme de Brissac, who hasn't had any news of her husband since the 19th. If, as the newspaper announced, he went to Bordeaux on the 29th, he certainly would have written. She doesn't understand anything about the situation and wonders why Madame, having already sent a declaration to the government, would feel obliged to send another to Bordeaux. She hopes he will come to see her to chat about all this. She had news from Prague on the 13th.
