Summary
Telling him mango season is in full swing in India; describing actors Paul Hunt and Calista Carradine as "hippies of the Sixities [sic]," albeit "very nice"; reporting "no sign of David Carradine" as of yet, but they will be shooting near Nasik [Nashik] soon; telling him that Merchant's sister Rashida is "not well-- she is going through mental agony" and that he took her to Breach Candy [probably Breach Candy Hospital, a prestigious private Mumbai facility] in hopes that she will "get back her confidence"; asking how Ivory is; telling him he has contacted the lab and outlined their post-production schedule; admonishing Ivory not to "spend anything except for editing staff and musicians"; pointing out that Michael should get reviews of Geraldine Chaplin's performance [in "Roseland"]; asking that Ivory keep him informed and sending love to Ruth and Jhab.
