Summary
Reads: There's a wonderful exhibition of Spanish paintings at the Royal Academy-- great Annunciations and Crucifixions, Christs, Cardinals, Kings-- but I seem to like the still lifes best of all, the loaves of bread and pigs trotters. The Princess book seems to be getting quite a lot of attention though it only came out a week ago-- everyone likes it very much-- I only wish the film could have coincided. The TV programme on the book has been postponed till 9 Feb. Jenny is talking to the Thames people & will see how far they will commit themselves-- I'll let you know any developments. Hope something works out on "Europeans." I'll probably be back on the 16th-- I'll let you know for sure-- please have all guru expeditions planned for me. Lots of love, Ruth.
