Thinking about writing for some time after reading Cavalcade of the English Novel and his introduction to The Collected Tales of Walter de la Mare; asking what she should do with "more than a hundred letters from Mr. de la Mare" and first edition books; saying "the correspondence started in 1936, when I first met him, and has continued fairly regularly to the present time, the last having been written--in bed--a few days ago"; asking if Wagenknecht might like to have them or if he could suggest someone else who would; expecting that they would be useful for a biography; awaiting reply with interest.
