Beginning letter on the 8th of February and stopping; enjoying the typescript sent to him and naming "those of Lethington and Catherine Seyton" as favorites and "At the other extreme is John Knox; offering structural critiques to Wagenknecht's project; encouraging him to "cut down as far as possible Mary's chapter to the bare bone"; asking if he would like the typescript back at once.
