Inscription continues from on card to the other: "Dec. 21. Since you never have an appointment and you don't like food I see no practical use for this (salvaged from David Swope's waste basket). But it has a nice chocolate cake on the cover and, who knows, you may be filling up the pages with New York appointments before the end of 1974? Especially Nov. 4-10. Much love, Jim."
