Summary
Hearing from "Mr. R.L. De Wilton" at Macmillan that "we have no objection to your using some of the stories in 'The Wind Blows Over' in your making a selection of your short stories"; saying "I have also had a letter from Mr. Peter du Sautoy, which I think will amuse you" and signing "the agreement with A.K." after; adding the number of words they have for the collection and striking out the contractual number; asking "would you please be an angel thrice over and arrange the stories as would suit you best" and hoping the introduction will not be "too laborious an undertaking; asking what in Wagenknecht's letter to Alfred Knopf "so immediately melted his determination?"
