Summary
Relaying that "A.K." is away again and "should be back aroudn the 20th"; feeling miserable over re-reading "the three old Cornhill stories" and saying "they are worse beyond even my wildest memories--much cruder than the greenest of cheeses and unless re-written, impossible to trim up, and make ship-shape let alone respectable"; planning to write to Derleth and asking Wagenknecht to "perhaps meanwhile break what might be-- and quite intelligibly--the rather thick ice between us; sending love and blessings and saying "I'm off to the sea".
