Summary
Exclaiming "at last!" at addressing the letter "Dear Edward" and telling a story about formal names; discussing stories for selection in the anthology including "The Hangman Luck" which appeared in the Pall Mall Gazette; saying yes to Wagenknecht writing to Macmillan for permission; admiring Wagenknecht's work and finding "reading these old and new bits of verse with care, that are going into the new book, sufficing toil"; thanking him for letter of March 25 and saying he "had come across a Charlotte Kohler letter to me of some years ago, only a day or two ago, and am very glad to hear that Helen MacAfee is now editing The Review"; wondering how best to proceed with M.C.A.; sending well wishes for health and assuring that he will send a copy of Children's Stories; asking if David wants a book; telling Wagenknecht to let him know if this is interferring with his own work.
