How stupid of me it was not to have guessed the name of that friend"; discussing title of "The Burning-Glass"; asking if "Miss McAdoo is still Assistant Editor of the Yale Review" and "who is now editing The Virginia Quarterly"; saying "In the old days, I used to send copies of the poems for serialisation to Leyland Hayward--this was in the golden days of Miss Pindyck" but not sure "who has taken the place of Helen Newald" at M.C.A.; discussing ghost stories.
