Asking whether the recipient would like to purchase some wine. He says that the new wines are detestable, which has made the old ones much more desirable. He needs a prompt response, because the Rouen wine fair is about to end; with a note from the recipient at the top from March 16th stating that he doesn't want any wine, and a note below the address panel concerning a barrel of eau-de-vie [fruit brandy].
