Summary
A printed card purporting to come from the Indian government (it likely does not), with text on both sides in both English and Hindi, soliciting money on behalf of a "Chetutale without tongue." In her letter of February 28, 1974 Jhabvala describes how, when she accepted the card but demurred on making a contribution, ".... you should have heard how he found his tongue!"
